After several years of work by the Edgemoor Neighborhood Plan committee, the June 2011 ENA Meeting was devoted entirely toward discussion of the proposed changes to the original 1981 Edgemoor Neighborhood Plan. The plan was approved by residents at that meeting and was submitted to the City of Bellingham. Senior Planner, Greg Aucutt stated in a letter to ENA that the deadline for 2011 had passed and the next deadline to have the plan docketed for review was April 1, 2012. Later we were told COB planners would not approve the proposed land use changes along with various other elements in the new plan. ENA was also told that COB planners were no longer docketing neighborhood plan revisions for approval.
