History of Edgemoor Neighborhood

Edgemoor was originally a development of homes along Bayside, Briar and Hawthorne roads. Edgemoor Association was a homeowners association formed for the express purpose to take possession of the Edgemoor Lagoon at the end of Willow Road. Edgemoor neighborhood was defined by the City of Bellingham as an area with boundaries of Bellingham Bay on the West, Chuckanut Drive on the East, Cowgill Road on the North, and includes all of the the Briza development to the South. The Edgemoor Neighborhood Association was formed in 2004 to represent all of the residents in the city-designated area of Edgemoor Neighborhood.
